Make dessert simple with these easy no-bake peanut butter bars. They are creamy, rich, and quick to prepare, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings without using your oven.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for topping)
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, powdered sugar, 2 cups of peanut butter, graham cracker crumbs, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until fully combined and the mixture forms a thick dough.
  3. Press this peanut butter mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Use the bottom of a glass or measuring cup to pack it down firmly.
  4. In a small, microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons of butter, and 1/4 cup of peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the peanut butter base. Spread it evenly to cover the entire surface.
  6. Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate topping is firm.
  7. Lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares before serving.

Notes

  • For a Reese’s copycat flavor, use a slightly salty peanut butter in the base.
  • If you prefer a softer topping, allow the bars to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before cutting.
  • These **quick peanut butter treats** store well in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
