Ingredients
Scale
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons milk (any kind)
2 tablespoons strawberry puree (from fresh or frozen strawberries)
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Combine the heavy whipping cream, milk, strawberry puree, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a medium bowl.
Use an electric hand mixer or a whisk to beat the mixture.
Start on low speed and gradually increase to medium-high speed.
Whip until stiff peaks form. This usually takes 3 to 5 minutes with a hand mixer. Do not over-whip.
Prepare your iced coffee or iced latte base.
Gently spoon the finished strawberry cold foam over the top of your cold beverage.
Serve immediately for the best pink coffee aesthetic.
Notes
For a thicker puree, simmer fresh strawberries until soft, then mash or blend them. Cool completely before using.
If you do not have an electric mixer, you can vigorously whisk by hand, but expect this to take 10 to 15 minutes.
This recipe makes enough topping for 2 to 3 iced lattes.
