Make this rich and comforting creamy garlic beef pasta entirely in one pot for minimal cleanup. This easy weeknight skillet meal delivers deep flavor fast.
Heat the olive oil in a large pot or deep skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until it is fully browned. Drain off any excess grease.
Stir in the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant.
Pour in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
Add the dry pasta to the pot, stirring to submerge it completely in the liquid.
Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover the pot, and simmer for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Remove the pot from the heat. Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Let the pasta sit, uncovered, for 2 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken slightly.
Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a richer flavor, substitute half of the beef broth with dry red wine before adding the pasta.
If you prefer a thinner sauce, add a splash more broth or milk after stirring in the cream.
This recipe works well with ground turkey or ground sausage instead of beef.
