Ingredients
Scale
1 pound fresh pizza dough
8 ounces cooked lobster meat, chopped
1/2 cup crème fraîche or heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 475 degrees Fahrenheit. If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
In a small bowl, mix the crème fraîche, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper. This is your sauce base.
On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll the pizza dough into your desired shape, about 12 to 14 inches across.
Transfer the dough to a pizza peel dusted with cornmeal or onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the edges of the dough lightly with olive oil.
Spread the crème fraîche mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a one-inch border for the crust.
Distribute the chopped lobster meat evenly over the sauce.
Scatter the halved cherry tomatoes across the top.
Bake for 10 to 14 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the toppings are hot. Cooking time varies based on your oven.
Remove the pizza from the oven. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before slicing and serving immediately.
Notes
For the best flavor, use fresh, high-quality lobster meat.
If you prefer a richer base, substitute the crème fraîche with softened cream cheese mixed with a splash of milk.
This recipe works well as a sophisticated Mother’s Day dinner idea or luxury comfort food.
