Ingredients
Scale
1 (750 ml) bottle chilled Champagne or dry sparkling wine
1 cup strawberry puree (from fresh or frozen strawberries)
1 cup white grape juice or apple cider
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup simple syrup (adjust to taste)
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
1/2 cup fresh orange slices
1 cup fresh raspberries or cranberries (optional, for color)
Instructions
Prepare the strawberry puree by blending fresh or thawed frozen strawberries until smooth. Strain if you prefer a seedless texture.
In a large punch bowl, combine the strawberry puree, white grape juice (or apple cider), orange juice, and simple syrup. Stir well to mix the base liquids.
Chill the punch base mixture in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving. This allows the flavors to meld.
Just before serving, gently pour in the chilled Champagne or sparkling wine. Do not stir vigorously, as you want to keep the carbonation.
Add the sliced fresh strawberries, orange slices, and any other fruit you are using to the punch bowl.
Serve immediately in glasses filled with ice. This is a crowd-pleasing punch perfect for celebrations.
Notes
For a non-alcoholic version, substitute the Champagne with sparkling white grape juice or club soda.
You can make this a make-ahead party drink by preparing the fruit juice base up to 24 hours in advance. Add the sparkling wine just before guests arrive.
To keep the punch cold without diluting the flavor, freeze some of the fruit (like strawberries or grapes) to use as ice cubes.
