Prepare these simple, crowd-pleasing baked buffalo chicken sliders using soft Hawaiian rolls, shredded chicken, spicy buffalo sauce, and melted cheese. They are perfect for game day or any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12-count) package sweet slider rolls (like King’s Hawaiian)
  • 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works well)
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce (Frank’s RedHot recommended)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (Monterey Jack or Cheddar blend)
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing. Mix until the chicken is fully coated.
  3. Slice the entire package of slider rolls horizontally, keeping the rolls connected in one piece if possible. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the chicken mixture.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese layer.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Brush this mixture evenly over the top of the slider buns.
  8. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
  10. Slice the sliders apart and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the chicken mixture.
  • Serve these sliders with blue cheese dressing or celery sticks on the side for dipping.
  • If you prefer a spicier slider, add a teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the butter topping.
